Zelensky warns war to last for years if aid is lacking
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the public on Thursday in his regular afternoon video, stressing that the allies need to deliver the necessary weapons to Kiev.
Zelensky specifically asked for "long-range weapons" and "modern aircraft." He further underlined that more sanctions must be implemented against Russia and Ukraine's integration process into the European Union must be dealt with "more actively."
If this is not done, Zelensky warned that the result could be "years of war." In his address to the participants of the European Council meeting, the head of state underlined that "if there are no delays or stagnation in our cooperation ... the victory will be gained already this year."
