Asia trades mixed after China's inflation report

Major stock indexes in Asia traded mixed on Thursday after the release of the new report on inflation in China. Consumer prices rose by 2.3% in November compared to the same month last year, according to the country's National Bureau of Statistics. In Australia, RBA Governor Philip Lowe gave a speech on digital currencies.

The Nikkei 225 dropped 0.15% at 4:35 am CET. Meanwhile, Hang Seng improved by 1.10% at 4:36 am CET, while the S&P/ASX 200 grew by 0.12% at the same time. The Kospi Composite was up by 0.67% at 4:17 am CET.

The Shanghai Composite added 1.03% at 4:30 am CET, and the Shenzhen Composite gained 1.27% at 4:35 am CET.

The dollar traded flat against the yen, selling for 113.7185 at 4:39 am CET.
