Beijing working on tariff waivers for US soy, pork

Some American soybean and pork imports in China will be excluded from tariffs, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council said on Friday. The exclusions will be based on applications from US companies, while the exact quantities of these products were not announced.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that trade talks with China are "going well" and that "something could happen" with tariffs on Chinese goods set to take effect on December 15.
