Bitcoin tops $29,000 for first time since June 2022
Prices of cryptocurrencies continued to rally on Thursday as investors looked convinced that the banking crisis will not bring major damage to the global economy. Traders seemingly shrugging off recent tensions between US regulators and the crypto industry.
Bitcoin rose by 2.67% to $29,115 at 4:42 am CET, surpassing the $29,000 mark for the first time since June 2022. Ether increased by 1.79% to $1,825 at the same time.
Bitcoin is up more than 75% year-to-date and more than 47% over the past six months.
