Comey: DoJ's conclusions are 'reasonable'

Former FBI Director James Comey responded on Thursday to the release of the Department of Justice's report on Hillary Clinton's email server investigation with an op-ed in the New York Times, where he praised the work done by the Inspector General Michael Horowitz, despite disagreement on some of the conclusions presented in the report.

On Twitter, Comey wrote: "I respect the DOJ IG office, which is why I urged them to do this review. The conclusions are reasonable, even though I disagree with some. People of good faith can see an unprecedented situation differently. I pray no Director faces it again. Thanks to IG’s people for hard work."

The investigation into the alleged misconduct in the probe of Hillary Clinton's email scandal found no evidence that there was political bias in then-FBI director Comey's intentions. However, Comey was criticized for "insubordination" and "deviating from the FBI norms" in the investigation.
