Federer beats Nadal, to face Djokovic in Wimbledon final

Third-placed tennis player on the ATP list Roger Federer defeated Rafael Nadal 1-3 in the second semifinals of the Wimbledon after four sets. This is the first Wimbledon match between two rivals in the past 11 years.

Federer managed to take the first set after a tie break and the longest segment of the game, after which Nadal managed to equalize the result in the second set with an overwhelming 6-1 result. After that, the Spanish tennis player seemingly lost his focus, losing the second set 3-6, during which Federer capitalized on the whopping three set points in the last game alone. Nadal managed to offer better defense to the Federer's aggressive play during the last set, defending against multiple match points, but succumbed to the unrelenting Swiss, losing 4-6.

Federer will face defending champion of men's singles at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic, in the tournament's final scheduled for Sunday.
