France to impose quarantine for arrivals from 4 countries

The French government announced that it will introduce a 10-day quarantine for all travelers arriving from Brazil from April 24 in an effort to curb the spread of the COVID-19 strain first detected in the South American country.

The prime minister's office noted that the same measures will apply to arrivals from Argentina, Chile and South Africa, as well as the country's overseas territory French Guiana.

Furthermore, France decided to extend the suspension of flights to and from Brazil until April 23.
