Gilead: Q4 total revenues up 2% to $7.4 billion
Gilead Sciences Inc. reported on Thursday that its total revenues amounted to $7.39 billion in the three months ending with December 31, 2022, marking a 2% increase from the corresponding trimester in the previous year. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022 more than quadrupled to $1.30, while operating income jumped 141% year-on-year to $2.27 billion in the year's closing quarter.
For the entire fiscal 2022, revenues were $27.28 billion, almost unchanged from 2021. Operating income was 26% lower annually, standing at $7.33 billion in 2022 while diluted earnings per share were $3.64, also falling 26% compared to 2021.
Gilead's shares rose by 1.25% in after-hours trading following the release of the report.
