Goldman buys Clarity Money finance app - report

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. bought personal finance app Clarity Money in order to boost its online business, the Wall Street Journal reported.

According to the report, Goldman is paying an eight-figure sum for the two-year-old startup with one million users, however, the terms were not disclosed.

The app was bought for Goldman's Marcus brand, an online lending business that was started in 2016 and has 350,000 customers.
