JGC Holdings Corp provides planning, consulting, materials procurement, construction, operation and maintenance services for a variety of plants and facilities. It also invests in oil and gas field development projects and utility companies. The company has two business sectors: total engineering (the majority of total sales) and catalysts and fine products. It builds and tests machinery and plants for a wide range of energy and industrial markets. It uses engineering technologies and project management capabilities. Additional sales are generated by the provision of operational support after project completion. Asia is an important region for the company, but it also sells to Australia, the Middle East and North America.
