Kudlow hopes COVID-19 crisis 'matter of weeks or months'

United States National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow asserted on Sunday that he believes the coronavirus crisis may be "a matter of weeks or months," adding that the US is "putting whatever it takes" to tackle the COVID-19 impact on the country's economy.

"It could be four weeks, it could be eight weeks. I say that hopefully and I say that prayerfully, that's what some of the science experts are telling us. I don’t know if they’ll be right," he stressed in an interview with ABC.

Kudlow also claimed that $2.2 economic stimulus provided by the United President Donald Trump administration is "the largest mainstream financial assistance package" in the country's history. However, he is unsure whether the relief package "could get everything, help everybody" but it will give the US a "tremendous amount of resources" to deal with the coronavirus crisis.
