Morrison: Trade issues with EU to be resolved in months ahead

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said reaching a free trade agreement with the European Union is "not an easy thing to do," adding that existing issues "will be worked through in the weeks and months ahead."

On the issue of the current crisis in Australia's relationship with France, Morrison said that "right now I understand the disappointment and they’re working through the consultations with their ambassador’s return to Paris and we’ll be patient with that." He added an opportunity for him to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron "will come in time."
