US, China continuing talks on working level – report

Results of the comprehensive negotiations between top officials from China and the United States "were not bad," according to the head of a newspaper affiliated with the Communist Party of China. Hu Xijin, editor-in-chief of the Global Times, wrote on Twitter on Wednesday that he learned "intensive working-level consultations" were sheduled for next month before the next formal round, set for September. The person said to be well acquainted with the thinking of decision makers in Beijing denied the encounter "ended in a bad vibe."
