Xiaomi to open smart factory in Beijing
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun (pictured) announced on Thursday that the Chinese technology company will open a new smart factory in Beijing next month.
According to Lei, the company will make 1 million smartphones per year at the plant, which is expected to make the manufacturing process 60% faster than it is at regular factories.
