Giuliani's associates 'likely' to face new charges - prosecutors

United States Federal prosecutors said on Monday they are "likely" to put new criminal charges against US President Donald Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani's associates.

During the hearing related to the case of Giuliani associates Lev Parnas (pictured) and Igor Fruman, prosecutor Douglas Zolkind told Judge J. Paul Oetken, the prosecutors think "a superseding indictment is likely," and that they are "continuing to evaluate." He pointed out that prosecutors still haven't decided on filing extra charges. However, he said that there is additional proof "that's coming."

Parnas and Fruman are accused of conspiracy to defraud the US and also of assisting Giuliani in getting the government of Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden.
