Snap to implement changes to its working environment

Snap Inc CEO Evan Spiegel (pictured right) said the company is looking to adapt to a new working environment amid the COVID-19 outbreak, once the thousands of employees are back to their offices.

Spiegel told CNBC on Wednesday that the preparation for the change is going to be a slow process, as the company plans to rearrange its office floor plans, including the introduction of "micro-kitchens," while getting rid of ice dispensers. At the same time, there'll be an implementation of temperature checks before employees return to work, Spiegel noted.

"We’re making changes to our floor plan, we’re thinking about how we’re going to be testing folks maybe through temperature or maybe a survey or other health condition," CEO stated, adding that "what we want to do is provide the option to return to our offices when it’s safe."
