Boeing plans 737 Max recertification flight - report

Boeing Company is targeting a "recertification flight or flights" for its 737 MAX aircraft by the end of the month, CNBC reported on Wednesday citing several sources.

Boeing declined to comment on the reports, while the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said it is in regular contact with Boeing, stressing that the manufacturer must demonstrate compliance with all the certification standards before 737 MAX is cleared for passenger service.

Last month, Boeing said it resumed the production of the 737 MAX model. The production of the aircraft has been halted since January after two deadly crashes.
