Kurz, Rutte satisfied with EU relief fund talks so far

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (pictured right) took to Twitter on Monday to say he is "satisfied" with the outcome of the European Union's summit regarding the distribution of funds under the Union's coronavirus relief package, noting the negotiations were "difficult" but will continue later.

"Hard negotiations have just come to an end, we can be very satisfied with today's result. We'll continue in the afternoon," Kurz wrote.

Meanwhile, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte (pictured left) reiterated that progress has been made "on the whole" despite the bloc not reaching a decision yet.
