Fauci: Trump didn't distort public COVID-19 data

United States National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci (pictured) on Wednesday said President Donald Trump did not distort the information on the coronavirus pandemic presented to the public.

"I didn't see any discrepancies between what he told us and what we told him and what he ultimately came out publicly and said," he told Fox News. "He really didn't say anything different than we discussed when we were with him."

Earlier in the day, it was reported Trump downplayed the seriousness of the pandemic, which was quickly denied by White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
