Trump doubts Dems 'willing to do what is right' on stimulus

United States President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday to express doubts Congress Democrats are "willing to do what is right" when it comes to the fourth coronavirus stimulus package.

"Just don’t see any way Nancy Pelosi and Cryin’ Chuck Schumer will be willing to do what is right for our great American workers, or our wonderful USA itself, on Stimulus. Their primary focus is BAILING OUT poorly run (and high crime) Democrat cities and states," Trump wrote. "Should take care of our people. It wasn’t their fault that the Plague came in from China!," he added.

Earlier, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's spokesperson said Democrats and Republicans are narrowing their differences on the stimulus package but "more work needs to be done" on some aspects. Meanwhile, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows claimed Democrats made only "very small" concessions in talks with the GOP.
