US mostly down premarket with US stimulus in focus

Major stock indexes were mostly down during premarket trade on Friday as traders are monitoring the US stimulus to come. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said earlier he would not extend most of the emergency lending programs run in tandem with the Federal Reserve.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.23% at 4:32 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 gained 0.06%. The S&P 500 lost 0.18% a minute later.

The euro fell by 0.12% against the greenback at 4:33 am ET, selling for 1.18632 dollars.
