Boeing to deliver key element to NASA's rocket today

In preparation for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) launch of Artemis I uncrewed test flight mission Boeing aircraft manufacturer is scheduled to deliver a key part of the rocket today - the cryogenic core stage.

NASA's Space Launch System rocket is designed to be the size of a 38-story building, for which Boeing is providing avionics, core stage and upper stages. Artemis I program is expected to launch in November 2021.

The day before, during an annual meeting Boeing's CEO Dave Calhoun said that the company is "invested in every way" in their space projects.
