Asia-Pacific stocks higher as RBA holds rates

Markets in Asia-Pacific rose in afternoon trading on Tuesday as investors digested the Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) decision to keep interest rates unchanged and continued to focus on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 climbed 0.48% at 7:02 am CET and Hong Kong's Hang Seng increased 0.34% at 7:05 am CET. In South Korea, the Kospi was up 0.06% at 7:06 am CET. Markets in Japan and mainland China were closed for holidays.

The dollar added 0.19% against the yen to sell for 109.2815 at 7:07 am CET.
