Singapore limits crypto advertisements

Singapore's financial regulator, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, published on Monday guidelines meant to limit cryptocurrency exchanges' ability to advertise their services to the public.

The crypto service providers will not be able to promote their services in Singapore's public areas, or through the engagement with third parties, the regulations showed.

The companies were left with the possibility to advertise on their own websites, mobile apps, and official social media channels.
