Under Armour's revenue up 9% to $1.5B in Q4

Under Armour Inc. revealed on Friday its revenue in the fourth quarter of 2021 amounted to $1.5 billion, marking a 9% increase compared to the same period a year ago. The company's net income came at $110 million, while its diluted earnings per share (EPS) landed at $0.23, compared to the %0.40 in the fourth quarter of 2020.

On an annual level, Under Armour's revenues jumped 27% year-on-year to hit $5.6 billion, while its net income came at $360 million, as opposed to a net loss of $549 million in 2020. Likewise, its yearly diluted EPS amounted to $0.77, in contrast to a loss per share of 1.21 for the total of 2020.

"The final quarter of 2021 demonstrated the power and consistency of Under Armour's strategic playbook, which allowed us to capitalize on improving brand strength and consumer demand," Under Armour President and CEO Patrik Frisk said in the report.
