Asian markets still mixed after PBoC decision

Major stock markets in Asia-Pacific continued trading mixed on Monday after the People's Bank of China (PBoC) decided to leave key interest rates unchanged. In regard to the situation in Ukraine, Kiev refused to accept Russia's offer on humanitarian corridors in Mariupol.

At 7:13 am CET, Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 0.69%, while South Korea's Kospi Composite decreased 0.71% at the same time.

The Australian S&P 200 lost 0.22% at the closing bell, while Japanese stocks were closed on Monday. The dollar was higher 0.08% against the yen at 7:17 am CET, selling for 119.28100.

In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite was flat at 7:29 am CET, with the Shenzhen Composite rising 0.13% a minute later.
