West shouldn't shift blame for grain supply problems - Lukashenko

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, in a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, blasted the Western nations for blaming Belarus and Russia for problems with the supply of grain and fertilizers.

In discussing the blockade of the Ukrainian ports that has halted grain exports for months, Lukashenko alerted to the fact that neither Moscow nor Minks have a problem with continuing with exports, alluding to the fact that Kiev is to blame for the lack of goods on the market.

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Lavrov has already urged Kiev to de-mine the water around its Black Sea ports to allow grain flow, remaining adamant that the country is responsible for blocking the trade corridors by installing naval mines.
