Europe opens in green after data

Stock exchanges in Europe opened higher on Thursday after the release of data reports on United Kingdom house prices and German industrial production. Investors throughout the continent will be monitoring how the government crisis in the UK will unfold after 50 officials left Downing Street since Tuesday evening.

The DAX moved up 1.30% at 9:02 am CET as its best performer Hannover Rueck advanced 2.56% at 9:04 am CET. London's FTSE 100 grew 0.90% at 9:00 am CET with Glencore going up 3.59% and leading the gains at 9:02 am CET. The CAC 40 increased by 1.23% at 9:00 am CET, pulled up by ArcelorMittal's 2.57% rise at 9:02 am CET.

The euro rose by 0.18% against the dollar, selling at 1.02016 at 8:59 am CET. The British pound was 0.25% higher in comparison to the American currency, going for 1.19544 at the same time.
