Europe opens higher after data

Europe opened higher on Wednesday after Germany and the United Kingdom revealed information on their producer and consumer prices, respectively. Additionally, the European Union is expected to publish its consumer confidence data for July.

The DAX went up by 0.27% at the opening as Deutsche Bank climbed 2.04%. London's FTSE 100 increased by 0.50% at the same time, with WPP advancing 2.51%. The CAC 40 rose by 0.36% two minutes later as Carrefour expanded 3%.

The euro gained 0.18% to the dollar at 09:00 am CET to sell for $1.02469, while the pound sterling increased by 0.06% against the greenback to go for $1.20040.
