Major European stocks posted slight increases at the start of Tuesday's session as investors carefully observed the latest batch of economic data set for release throughout the day.

Earlier today, the British statistics office reported job vacancies declined in the trimester ending June for the first time since August 2020, showing early signs of cooling, with regular pay adjusted for inflation plunging by a record 3%.

The DAX rose by 0.23% at the opening bell, while the FTSE 100 grew 0.35%, and the CAC 40 traded 0.13% higher. Both the euro and the pound traded unchanged against the dollar at 8:52 am CET to sell for 1.01600 and 1.20517, respectively.
