Musk criticizes Apple for cutting ads on Twitter

Twitter Inc. CEO Elon Musk responded on Monday to Apple Inc.'s decreasing its ads on the platform by questioning the company's stance on freedom of speech.

"Apple has mostly stopped advertising on Twitter. Do they hate free speech in America?," Musk tweeted. The social media platform has seen many companies reducing or suspending their advertisement activity, with Musk devising different strategies to replace ad revenue, including the introduction of a new verification system.

Two days ago, the billionaire announced he will manufacture an "alternative phone" if Twitter gets banned from Apple and Google's app stores.
