Elliott reportedly plans to nominate directors at Salesforce
Activist investor Elliott Management Corp. is planning to nominate several directors at Salesforce Inc. after taking a stake in the company, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday citing people familiar with the matter.
According to the report, Elliott is in talks with "numerous technology executives," as well as people with backgrounds in other industries about the positions.
Earlier this week, reports emerged that Elliot made an investment in Salesforce worth billions of dollars. Meanwhile, investment management firm Inclusive Capital Partners LP also reportedly acquired a stake in the tech company.
