Zelensky: Russia hopes to drag out the war
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his nightly address on Sunday accused Russia of trying to "drag out" its military operation in Ukraine in order to exhaust the country's forces.
"We have to make time our weapon," Zelensky said, calling for speeding up the supply of weapons and opening new weaponry options for the country. "The speed of supply has been and will be one of the key factors in this war," he argued, shortly after stating that the ongoing conflict must end in 2023.
Zeelnsky said Moscow doesn't count its casualties and continues its offensive despite the number of lives lost in the process. "There are constant attempts to break through our defense," he said.
