Russia: Kiev behind Moscow drone attack
The Russian Defense Ministry declared on Tuesday that Ukraine carried out a drone attack on Moscow, resulting in damage to several residential buildings.
"This morning, the Kiev regime launched a terrorist attack with unmanned aerial vehicles on facilities in the city of Moscow," the ministry shared in a statement, proceeding to specify that eight unmanned aerial vehicles were involved in the strike and all were downed. Pantsir missile system took out five, while electronic warfare (EW) was used to hit the remaining three, causing them to deviate off course.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin previously shared that two residents required medical assistance, but none were hospitalized, and no other casualties have been reported so far.
