Ryanair 2022 net loss at €355 million

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair announced on Monday that its 2022 net loss amounted to €355 million, while its total revenues for the year landed at €4.8 billion.

Ryanair also said it has in plan to increase its traffic to 165 million passengers this year, 97 million more than the previous one and higher than the pre-COVID-19 149 million.

"There's no doubt we're recovering strongly, we're growing strongly, but that growth is being delivered by lower pricing and (...) the recovery is fragile," Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary noted in the presentation of the 2022 results.
