South Korea's Moon to meet Biden in US in May

South Korean President Moon Jae-in will travel to the United States in the second half of May to meet with US President Joe Biden, his office announced on Friday. The two sides are still working on the schedule of Moon's visit, Yonhap reported, citing a spokesperson.

The summit is expected to focus on efforts to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula, as well as "ways for the continued development of the Seoul-Washington alliance." The Biden administration has committed to "focusing on reducing the threat" of North Korea's nuclear weapons.
