Unilever's turnover up 4% to €13.5 billion in Q3

Unilever plc announced on Thursday that its turnover in the third quarter of 2021 stood at €13.5 billion, rising 4% from the same period a year ago and topping estimates. Underlying sales growth in the three-month period stood at 2.5%.

The British-Dutch transnational consumer goods company added that its quarterly dividend payable in December stood at €0.4268 per share.

"We have delivered a good quarter against strong comparators, with underlying sales growth of 2.5%. The combination of our strategic choices and focus on operational excellence continue to drive competitive growth. Underlying sales growth is now at 4.4% for the year to date and we are confident that we will be well within our multiyear framework of 3-5% for the full year," CEO Alan Jope stated.
