Zelensky says conflict with Russia must end in 2023

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a staff meeting on Sunday after which he remarked that the country's conflict with Russia must end by the end of the year.

"2023 must be and will definitely be the year of our victory," he stated.

In the meeting, his administration talked about addressing the key needs of the nation's troops and noted intelligence about Moscow's likely future actions. "We heard reports on the operational situation at the front, in particular in the Donetsk direction and in the south," the president said, reassuring the public that his government is preparing for "all possible events."
