The Share Class is a share class of a Fund which aims to achieve a return on your investment, through a combination of capital growth and income on the Fund"s assets, which reflects the return of the S&P Emerging Market Infrastructure Index, the Fund"s benchmark index (Index). The Share Class, via the Fund is passively managed and aims to invest so far as possible and practicable in the equity securities (e.g. shares) that make up the Index. The Index measures the performance of 30 of the largest listed infrastructure companies in emerging markets worldwide that meet specific investability requirements. The Index is designed to provide liquid exposure to the leading publicly listed emerging market companies in the infrastructure industry namely, from the transportation, energy and utility sectors as defined by the Global Industry Classification Standards (GICS), which are incorporated in emerging markets or derive their revenues from emerging markets operations. The Index is weighted by market capitalisation. Liquid means that the equity securities that make up the Index can be easily bought and sold in the market in normal market conditions. Market capitalisation is the share price of the company multiplied by the number of shares issued. The Fund intends to replicate the Index by holding the equity securities, which make up the Index, in similar proportions to it.
