JTEKT Corp is a producer of automotive parts, bearings and machine tools. The company's largest division in terms of sales produces steering systems and powertrain components for automobiles, as well as bearings designed to minimize energy losses used in wind power generation, transportation, agriculture and construction. The smaller Machine Tools and Mechatronics Division offers grinding, broaching and CNC machines, as well as solutions for improving production efficiency. Jtekt's main end market is Japan, but the company also sells to North America, Europe and other Asian countries.
